In the news today.. USGS has determined that there are 90 zillions of barrels of undiscovered oil (don't quite get the undiscovered part..) above the arctic circle. Great. Irony of ironies, it's more accessible now because the ice cap is melting. The worst part is they quantify it as 'enough oil to fulfill the global need for oil for three years'. I'm not sure if they mean this as a good thing or a bad thing. To me it's mind boggling if that is somehow a justification for going after it. Three years.
